MEASURED SURVEYS

One of the initial stages in almost every project involves a measured survey of your property / site. In some instances site levels are also taken particularly when the project is for new buildings or the site is uneven.

In most instances, when we carry our measured surveys of existing buildings, we use sophisticated electronic surveying equipment which incorporates laser and blue-tooth technologies so that when we leave site the floor plans are ready to be imported into directly into our CAD package back in the office.

The software also allows for photos to be taken and linked to the drawing, dictated notes to be added and also video clips of relevant parts of the property. Windows, doors, fixtures and fittings are numbered and scheduled to assist with specification and scheduling of the works to be prepared at a later date.

Complex site surveys are carried out using modern laser measuring techniques so that, once again, a high level of accuracy is achieved.
