One of the initial stages in almost every architectural design project involves a measured survey of your property / site. In some instances site levels are also taken particularly where the project is for new houses, bungalows, developments etc or if the site is uneven.
In most instances, when we carry our measured surveys of existing buildings, we use sophisticated electronic surveying equipment which incorporates laser and blue-tooth technologies so that when we leave site the floor plans are ready to be imported directly into our CAD package back in the office.
 The software also allows for photos to be taken and linked to the drawing, dictated survey notes to be added and also video clips to be taken of relevant parts of the property. Windows, doors, fixtures and fittings are numbered and schedules to assist with the specification and scheduling of the works to be prepared at a later date.
Complete site surveys are carried out using modern laser measuring techniques so that, once again, a high level of accuracy is achieved.
