Who are we?
Ely Design Group is a practice of Chartered Building Surveyors based in Stretham (near Ely), Cambridgeshire specializing in the Architectural Design of Residential Properties.
Ely Design Group was formed by John Norman in 1974 and was involved in numerous residential and commercial projects for local, regional and national clients. Allen Norman joined the practice in 1999. John and Allen are both Chartered Building Surveyors.
In 2007, the practice relocated from Wicken to Stretham to enable the business to expand.
The practice specializes in residential architectural projects ranging from modest extensions and self-build projects to medium housing developments for local developers. In addition, the partners carry our traditional building surveying roles including building surveys, party wall surveying, CDM Coordinating work together with acting as expert witnesses. The partners have a combined total of more than 50 years of experience.
